SoLoMo I think this is not only a slogan for digital world but this Is something a more important for real world. Social Local and Mobile is going to gain best benefits in near term.
Why Real world?
If you see a background of last few years.. People are now coming out , they want to build relationship beyond money. People want fun, they are craving for new things, sharing new things ( social media played a big role in it) People want to fight against wrong things, want to raise up voice without afraid of politicians. ( this situation is all across the globe) These are sign of “Social”
Personally as an Indian I am lucky enough to witness various culture very closely and because of my reading habit I have learned lot of things around various culture. Now people are happy being “local” instead of announcing them as a “Global”. Before 10 years situation were different person who has travelled many countries used to get a lot more respect in local society. And nowadays person who never travels anywhere but devote himself in limited area where he is living will get more respect once again this is happening all across the globe.. these are sign of “Local”
Introverts needs to look at this as an opportunity of improvement but this world now needs people who can go out and rock the stage. It means people who love to go mobile and socialize with local communities is need of a new era. We have seen that people go out and open for sharing their travel experiences (photo , tweets, albums, greetings) with other .. These are sign of “Mobile”
In Digital world I do not want to say more..
