A Family Day Out at Walton Glen Gorge

I never imagined finding a hidden gem like Walton Glen Gorge so close to home. As a newcomer to Moncton from India, I was eager to explore the natural beauty of Canada. A day trip with my family to the Walton Glen Gorge was the perfect opportunity.

The 1.1 km trail to the observation deck was a pleasant walk, even for my young kids. The forest was filled with the sounds of birds and the fresh smell of pine. My children were excited to spot different kinds of trees and wildlife.

When we reached the observation deck, we were all in awe. The view of the gorge was simply breathtaking. The towering cliffs, the lush greenery, and the cascading waterfall created a picture-perfect scene. My kids were amazed, pointing at the different formations and asking endless questions.

It was a perfect family outing. We enjoyed a picnic lunch overlooking the gorge and made some wonderful memories. The kids were tired but happy, and I felt a sense of peace and tranquility. Discovering places like Walton Glen Gorge makes me appreciate my new home even more.
