I have been fan of learning Spanish since I was kid.. never had a chance to do it professionally but with having Spanish friends and clients.. I have got knowledge of some Spanish thing which will be helpful for all Indians in pronunciation of “Spanish” words..
- ll ( double ll) is always pronounced “iya” or “y” like Villa is pronounced “viya” not “villa”
- “c” Is usually pronounced as a “k” so , if Celina is pronounced “kelina” in Spanish
- If “c” is placed before “e” or ‘”I” it is pronounced “th” it means.. “Barcelona” is pronounced “barthelona”
- D between end of the word or between vowels are pronounced like “the” in father means “prada” should pronounced “pradha”
Above things will help you when you are interacting with any senorita or senor face to face :)..
Hasta Luega ..
